I joined GoHealth in 2018, as the company started to consider how design and user experience could become a more integral part of their business strategy. The tech organization transitioned from a development lead entity, to a more mature product organization......going from one where things were just shipped when dev deemed them ready, to one where user research, technical demos and design Q&A are now all an expected part of features making their way to production.

As a design leader, I helped ready our products for an initial public offering, as well as oversee digital transformation on several fronts. Most notably, with all the internal tools our insurance agents use to service our customers. For the first time, we have an analytical view of how agents service consumers from start to finish, giving us an ability to spot trends / opportunities and change (what were slow, off-line sales processes previously) in a matter of days.

In my time here, our agent tools have been an integral part in generating billions in revenue and continue to be a great example of how design, development and business leaders can work in unison, to deliver workflow tools that meet user needs.
